Manju Restaurant in Cologne

I often get my lunch here. I think it's really delicious. I think your food is great, the Somosa with the hot dip.

Fake/touristic indian restaurant. The chicken tikka is an Indian dish made in a tandoor. What I got here instead was disgusting boiled chicken with some sauce on top that was supposed to trick me into believing that I'm eating grilled meat. Come on guys, you can do better than that. The Jalfrezi was pretty bad also. The dal and the samosa were actually the only acceptable dishes, however far from what you'd get in India.

Listless staff, rice was only at room temperature, but salad didn't have a hint of an Indian touch either, only the beef was good. The whole thing for 8.90 euros. Hence only two stars. Only because of the beef.

Have been here too good to go, friendliness looked different and the portions were disproportionate, far too much rice - too little sauce. Wouldn't go back.

I ordered from you via toogoodtogo. We got a 7 € portion according to the specification, but everyone else got it for 4.90 €. We paid 4 € for it, which in my eyes is bold marketing and just lied away. In addition, I was allowed to listen to hatred of the staff when asked what we just got there. After several insults on my part, I would be directed to the restaurant. Asocial, unprofessional and a real rip off due to the extra arrival. I would like to get my money back and never go there again, because I do not assume such goodwill after what I had to experience. I just thank you with an appropriate rating and the tip urgently to change something in customer management. There are at least 20 better restaurants in this industry. Nobody needs that !! I ordered a portion of beef rice. Ultimately, I didn't have a SINGLE piece of meat on my plate, just vegetables. That's cheating! I will never eat there again.

Very tasty Indian food, but unfortunately too little meat / sauce for the portion of rice. The ratio could fit better for an average of € 7.50 / serving.

Unfortunately, you don't feel comfortable on site, because you are stared at as a woman, which really does not have to be. Of course my husband was really annoyed and annoyed at some point. Instead of holding back .. he even drummed the rest forward so that they gawk with them. Probably one of them is still the owner .. sad. Man feels like in the zoo, of course you couldn't enjoy the food anymore. On March 3rd, 2020, approx. 6 p.m.

I am in Cologne for professional reasons and so this week for the first time here in the Rhein Center I was looking for a good dinner. In short, it is delicious. The portion on the plate perfectly enough to get full. The taste is gigantic. Almost as good as homemade at home. And that's why I've been here the last 3 evenings and have satisfied my hunger. Highly recommended! As a delicious dessert definitely try the mango lassi!

There is not much gastronomic selection in the Rhein Center, Manju is the favorite with Indian dishes.

If you order a small portion you have to, although correct plates and cutlery are available from the paper cup and eat with plastic cutlery. To make nothing on demand and the staff also quite unfriendly reaction - neither environmentally friendly nor customer friendly and the "why" opens up to me not synonymous. The food was in the price-performance ratio only ok ...

Here I was eating Indian for the first time and thought it was really good! For the price you get a portion, which is enough. It was even too much for my friend, so you will certainly get enough!

Good for you! The prices are however completely covered, therefore unfortunately not to be recommended. For 100 grams of rice, a tablespoon of sauce and 3 tiny pieces of chicken almost 5 euros to take is an uninhibited.

My absolute favorite child! The food is so delicious! Although it is a snack, the dishes are of very good quality and taste really great! The staff is totally friendly and nice! Since I live directly at the center I became a regular!
